iPod socks come in these main sizes:
iPod (standard)
Dimensions: 10.4 x 6.1 x 1.5 cm
This sock will fit all standard iPods, from 3G to video, as well as iPhones and other similar sized devices.
Old iPod Nano
Dimensions: 9.0 x 4.0 x 0.69 cm
This sock will fit any iPod Nano, and comes with a special hole at the bottom right hand corner so that you can have your iPod’s earphones plugged in whilst it is in its sock.
Old iPod Shuffle
Dimensions 8.5 x 2.5 x 0.84 cm
These socks are for the old-style shuffle, not the new lapel-clip style shuffle. Those are so small a sock would be hard to knit!
Mobile phone socks
If you want a sock for your mobile phone, Brenda can custom-knit one for you. Just use the contact form to let us know the height, width and depth of your phone, including the location of your earphone jack socket, and the number of pockets you would like (none, one or two).
The sock above was knitted for a Nokia E61, which is wider and taller than an iPod. It does, however, keep it nice and safe from bumps and knocks.
